Art GCSE and A level got me into a real mentality of making something as good as possible in as short a time as possible, and moving on to the next thing. Only way to get though the amount of coursework needed and do okay in your other exams.
I had to think that way for seven years, and I think it's taken me another one after to remember I don't have to anymore.
That I can draw what I actually want to, and that just because it looks good enough doesn't mean I have to move on. I can play with it a little more. This piece is fifteen hours work. I was done to a satisfactory level in eight. I'm so happy I pushed on. It's pretty awesome to find my actual true limits (so far).
