I screamed and fell off my bed
"ow! what the hell, Mal?!" I asked mad
"Sorry Evie, But... What happened on your 'hang out' last night?" Mal asked exited
"It went well... " I lied
"Did Carlos say anything interesting?" Mal asked
"No, He didn't say anything" I lied
"Oh, Okay? Lets get ready for school" Mal said

We walk out of our dorm

I saw Carlos talking to Jane in the halls

Okay, Something is definitely wrong with Evie
I saw Jane and Carlos talking
I walk over to them
"Hi guys..." I said
"Hi Mal" They said
"Watcha' guys doing?" I asked
"Just talking about something" Jane said
"What are you guys talking about?" I asked suspiciously
"You don't have to know, Mal" Carlos said
I raised an eyebrow
"Sorry guys, I'm gonna be late for class... Bye!" Jane said and walked away
"What were you talking about?" I asked
"Fine, Its almost Evie's birthday and I was telling Jane if she could plan Evie's birthday and she was telling me what Evie would like since we were best friends since we were 6 and maybe I would do something nice for her" Carlos said
"Aww!" I said
"I already told her I liked her last night but she said she just don't want any relationships in the moment" Carlos said
