---playing All Mixed Up by The Cars--

"Honey, I'm home!" [Lucille arrives as she looks over to her son and his shiny bike- it was mangled less than 24 hours ago. She was pleasantly surprised] "And your bike looks brand new!" [She exclaimed as she squinted closer at it, almost not believing that it was the same bike she had seen her son throw into the dumpster behind the complex just a day ago. Daniel is startled by the sound of his mother's greeting as she walks up the stairs holding two bags of groceries. He turns around with his back to the window he was once staring into, which Scarlette had never noticed he was doing so. Lucille steps off the stair and puts a bag down] "Daniel, help me with this, will 'ya?" [Lucille requested- Daniel nods and picks up the grocery bag and the bonsai tree Mr. Miyagi had given him- he opened the door and held it for himself and his mother. He closes the door behind them and assists his mother with putting away the groceries, still a bit confused about what he had just witnessed when he was watching Scarlette practice. Although it wasn't completely unusual, so he moved on and stopped thinking about it] "So, who fixed your bike?" [Lucille asked as she filled the fruit bowl on the counter full of apples, bananas, and oranges]

"Oh the maintenance guy- Mr. Miyagi." [Daniel places his bonsai tree in the center on the counter] "And he gave me this too- it's called a bonsai tree." [Daniel says suddenly excited- his mother smiles]

-- the next day, Saturday (Cobra Kai Dojo) --

[There's a couple more minutes left of practice, Scarlette kicks a rubber dummy as hard as she can- she's been more angry than usual these days. Her and Daniel hadn't made up after yesterday- for all Scarlette knew, he was still mad at her. The other students were at their leisure, doing whatever karate-practice exercise they pleased- Johnny and his friends joked as they wrapped up their exercises calmly. Then, Johnny looks over to Scarlette and the two ex-best friends make eye-contact, Scarlette angrily looks away and hits her exercise even harder afterwards. Sensei Kreese steps out of his office with arms crossed, he paces the mat watching and critiquing his students]

"The All Valley Tournament is coming- you all better practice damn hard." [He said, looking mainly at his 'best' students, Johny Lawrence, Scarlette Sevem, Bobby, Dutch, and Tommy] "For now, you may be dismissed." [He declares, the students then exit the dojo, Scarlette leaves last, passing Johnny and his friends. The narrow doorway forces Scarlette to bump into Johnny and they look each other in the eyes angrily- trying to intimidate one-another into allowing the other to pass]

"What's the problem, Johnny?" [She sweeps a strand of hair out of her face so that she cannot break eye-contact. They both stand in the doorway, as they have stopped attempting to aggressively squeeze past eachother in the narrow space]

"Are you trying to pick another fight, Scar?" [He points, with a passive aggressive smirk]

"Don't call me Scar- I'm not your friend." [She slaps his hand away]

"You chose the enemy."

"The enemy? Daniel never wronged you, Johnny, how the fuck is he the enemy." [Scarlette defends with disgust] "You say such bullshit." [Scarlette rolls her eyes and starts heading out of the door in front of Johnny. Johnny then reaches his foot to the outdoor patio- Johnny trips Scarlette just enough to get her off-balance, then pushes her into the concrete. The speculating students laugh, Sensei Kreese still stares with his arms crossed. Bobby, Tommy, and Dutch laugh a little less- they had not much reason to dislike Scarlette other than her- now -'rivalry' relationship with Johnny. He steps out the door and walks around to Scarlette. Her head lifts off the ground as she looks over to Johnny. Scarlette lifts herself from the ground, unbalanced once again, as students walk around her to exit the dojo. If she fights Johnny and loses, she might be kicked out of Cobra Kai- Sensei Kreese was already hesitant to have a girl in his dojo- for it was extremely uncommon for females to fight in the All Valley tournament. Plus, she wasn't the strongest right now, she was sore from her training and now bruised from her fall. Her stubborn big mouth forced her to at least insult Johnny-] "Fuck you." [She says, not making Johnny even flinch. The others left as Scarlette wipes the dirt off of her clothes and begins her way home, a moment similar to the end of her beach fight 'scene'. She passed the restaurant beside the dojo and saw a familiar face in the window, Daniel. Scarlette's mood somehow quickly changes- hopefulness. She excitedly steps up the stairs to greet him and meet him inside, but hesitates- they hadn't resolved their fight from yesterday]
