So I have seen quite a few things about Percy and Annabeth should not have gone on the quest is HOO. I even saw this post (See Media.) and I would like to respond and I would love to hear everyone's thoughts.
Percy and Annabeth falling into Tartarus was essential for both of their character arcs. They both learned to ignore their fatal flaws when they escape Tartarus. Percy realizes the mistakes of his past and tried to correct them. I don't have much to say about Annabeth, I haven't read House of Hades in while, but man, Percy is amazing in this book. Showing his dark side and the extent of his powers. Every time I read this book, I want to skip to Percy and Annabeth parts. Though, it would be awesome to see the dark side of everyone's powers. Just pointing this out.
