Mae stepped into her workplace, Yongsan Psychiatric Hospital.
Dressed in a pair of blank pants and a light pink coloured shirt and a white coat over it.
With her usual sweet smile, Mae greeted anyone who passed by fellow doctors, nurses or even regular people visiting, she greeted them.
That's what she's required to do. Be nice and approachable. That's the rule made by her. Her days are hard yet she goes by her set rule.
Mae is the top psychologist here. She is well experienced and intelligent at her work. Mae is quite young however that doesn't take any less from her. She knows exactly what to do in any situation, good or bad. Even worse. Quick witted is the best word to describe her.
Which is why she handles significantly grim and abominable patients. Many are even barbarous criminals who were sent from prison.
Does she ever get frightened? Certainly. However that doesn't make Mae less sincere in helping her patients.
Her goal is to help people no matter what they are,what they do. This is the reason behind why Mae chose psychologist as her career.
"Mae!" Mae stopped in her tracks and turned behind to see her coworker and friend Haewon.
Mae and Haewon are friends since College. Haewon is also the one who convinced her to work here.
"Hey! good morning" Mae greeted her, her lips curved upwards forming a smile.
"Good morning too! so how's life? Did you get laid yet?" Haewon wiggled her eyebrows teasingly.
Mae hit Haewon's shoulder, "Yah! out of all questions, you ask me this?"
This time Haewon giggled and looked at Mae innocently, "Did you though?"
"Ew of course not. I don't have time for this." Mae replied, clearly not a fan of the idea of romance.
"Then sis make time, you are like twenty four and single since forever. You really shouldn't be so into work, that's unhealthy." Haewon insisted nudging her Mae's shoulders.
"Whatever" Mae quickly dismissed the topic.
In this duo, Haewon is more extroverted while Mae is bit on the introverted side. Both of their personality compliments each other.
"Doctor Mae!" Another of her coworker called out, walking towards her and Haewon.
"What is it Doctor Yuta?" Mae turns to the male who stood before her who also happens to be her close friend.
Yuta handed her a ruby shaded file, "A new patient had arrived yesterday and you are in charge of him."
Mae stared at the fill labeled, Dong Sicheng
"You can start anytime but note that this patient is quite insane in the worst way possible" Yuta advised.
Mae once again looked at the file. She re -reading the label.
