Stare

A few hours go by, and you've been introduced to almost all of your new teachers. 2 more to go. It's lunch break in 15 minutes, and you're extremely excited. You're starving now because of your light breakfast, and packed yourself (favorite food).

You and Tsukishima haven't shared a single word or look, but secretly you looked at him every once in a while when he's focused on his work or gazing out the window. He LOVES doing that, you can tell. I'm so jealous. I'm a window thinker too.

You did speak to the girl next to you during your snack/resting break though.

"Hi, thank you so much for showing me where the class is this morning. What's your name?"

"Kobayashi Hina," she replied with a deadpan tone. Okay, this time she was kind of cold. It seems like something's bothering her so I didn't mind.

"Nice to meet you, Kobayashi. I hope we can be friends." You told her before you turned back to your desk.

Now, it's a few hours later and you haven't spoken at all to anyone. Yuna was right, nobody really made a big deal.

I didn't want everyone to talk about me or anything, but I was expecting to make a few friends. You sadly think as you look down at the few notes you took for each of the classes. You didn't really need to pay too much attention because you already learned almost everything at your new school right before you left.

After a bit of looking at your split ends, picking at your nails, and doodling a bunch next to your notes, the bell rang.

YAY LUNCH! I can finally see Yuna. I had no time to this morning. Now that I think about it, she never called me back. She never does, actually.

You start to quickly put everything back in your bags, and just as you were about to get up, the tall blonde speaks to you.

"Why were you staring at me so much?" He says as he swiftly walks past your desk with a small smirk.

Your cheeks are on fire. Your hands drop your bag, and you melt into your seat from disbelief. WHAT????????

No. This is not real. He didn't notice. He did not just ask me he did not he why what when did- I never saw him looking back how did he notice?? Did I look at him that much??? This is so embarassing what is wrong with me?? Did I-

"(first name)!" you thankfully hear Yuna yell with her lunch in her hand from your class doorway. She walks over to you with your mouth open, eyes lifeless, and blushing face.

"Yuna...my life is over. I'm done. I hate, I don't, I never want to come back." you tell her, which confuses her even more with your weird face.

"What happened? You don't look good. Are you sick?" she asks with a concerned face as she brings the chair in front next to mine and sits down.

"I was kind of, um, looking at the boy who I got seated next to me A LOT during class, and he told me he noticed..." you explain.

Yuna burst out laughing.

"NO YOU'RE JOKING STOP IT RIGHT NOW SHOSLKAJHAKA" she makes the situation even worse.

"Yuna! I can't this is so bad." you smile a little bit at how embarrassing it is for the cute boy to notice you staring at him and how much Yuna is enjoying this.

She calms down, and takes a bite of her lunch. That reminds you: you're extremely hungry. You open your lunch, and take a bite, which makes you feel a bit better.

"Why? Is he cute?" She asks, as she takes another bite. You nod.

"Okay, then maybe you can try to talk to him or be friends with him. It wouldn't hurt. At least you started something by staring at him all day."
