Chapter 1

Hi guys! I hope you're all doing well. 2020 was a whirlwind of one disaster after another, let's be honest. This is another Austin & Ally story. Even at 22, I can say that I absolutely adore the show and that it is, was and will always be one of my all-time favorites. Just so you know, I don't own Austin & Ally. I hope you enjoy the story!

Ally Dawson-Moon held the hand of her husband, Austin Moon, as the two walked down the hall of Mount-Sinai Medical Center. Ally's childhood best friend, Trish De La Rosa, had recently given birth to her baby and they were going there to meet the baby. Austin gently knocked on the door, despite the door being ajar. Trish's husband, Jace Dillon, opened the door and whispered,

"Hi, you guys. Come on in."

They both followed him over to Trish's bed, tightly embracing her. Ally whispered,

"Congratulations."

Trish whispered,

"Thanks, you guys. That was a rough twenty hours of labor but it was worth it to have my baby."

Austin and Ally both watched as Jace picked up a newborn baby girl, all swaddled up, holding her on his shoulder, and they both watched him kiss her gently on the temple. Ally turned to Trish and asked her,

"Have you picked out a name for her yet?"

Trish said,

"Yeah, we did."

Jace said,

"We want to introduce you to Gabriela. Gabriela Ana Sofia Dillon."

Austin said,

"She's beautiful."

Jace asked him,

"Do you want to hold her, Austin?'

Austin said,

"Sure."

Austin was cradling newborn Gabriela in his arms and he whispered,

"Hi, Gabi. It's nice to meet you. You're a beautiful baby."

He watched as she opened her eyes, revealing a set of hazel eyes, just like Jace's. Ally watched Austin with the baby and watching him hold a baby was one of the things that made her feel soft. She wanted a baby of her own. She'd seen many mothers out in public with their babies and a few months ago, she realized she wanted a baby of her own. She had never told Austin she wanted a baby, though, because she didn't know if he wanted kids as badly as she did.

Austin turned to her and asked her,

"Ally, do you want to hold Gabi?"

Ally smiled.

"I would love to."

Austin handed her off to Ally. Ally cradled the baby in her arms and whispered,

"Hi, Gabi. Your mommy and I have been friends since we were kids. You're beautiful and you look like a mini-me of your mommy."

She looked at Gabi with a loving look in her eyes and turned to Trish.

"She's beautiful. Like her mom."

Trish smiled.

"She has Jace's eyes, though."

Later, Austin and Ally were both at their home and Ally was snuggling up against Austin on the bed. He said,

"Gabi is a beautiful baby, isn't she?"
