Granger Family Reunion

Ch 1: Invitation

HERMIONE'S P.O.V
I woke up to see my husband's mesmerizing grey eyes staring at me. "Good morning, love", my husband said. I replied with a smile, " Good morning, Draco". Yes Draco as in Draco Malfoy. The one and only. I have been married to Draco, the love of my life for 18 years. Draco leaned in and kissed me passionately. I opened my mouth to deepen the kiss. After our morning snogging session, we went to brush our teeth. I went down to prepare breakfast and Draco went to wake up the kids. The kids returned from Hogwarts yesterday. Scorp and Lyra have already graduated. While making pancakes, I heard the sound of footsteps. Draco, Scorp, Lyra and Cassie came down. The kids said in unison, "Morning mum". I said while facing them, " Good morning, kids. How did you all sleep? And Draco where are Hal and Orion?" "We slept fine mum. And Orion is getting fresh while Hal is brushing her teeth", Lyra said. I replied by nodding my head. After Hal and Orion came down, I served everyone pancakes with blueberry and maple syrup and juice. While having our breakfast, there was a tapping on the kitchen window. I went to check and saw my mother's owl I gifted her for her birthday. I opened the window and took the letters while Lyra fed the treats and water. It flew away after resting. There were 2 letters. I opened the first one and read it aloud:

Dear Hermione

I am sorry to inform you that the ANNUAL GRANGER FAMILY REUNION is being held and we have run out of excuses for you. Your grandparents, uncles, aunt and your cousins miss you very much. So, I hope you will attend the reunion this year and show your jealous cousins who the real Hermione Malfoy is.
The invitation is in the next letter. Be careful while opening it, it's very stinky.

"Mom, why is grams sorry to tell you about the reunion?", asked Orion. I replied with a small smile, "When I was younger, my mean cousins used to bully me because I had large front teeth and bushy hair. They called me names such as 'know-it all' and 'Bucktooth beaver'". I looked at Draco who gave me a regretful look because he also used to call me these names. I gave him a reassuring smile and a nodd to tell him that it's alright. Cassie asked me if she could read the other letter. I gave it to her after reminding her about the warning her grandma gave. She opened it and coughed a bit because of it's smell. Then she read it aloud and by the end she was fuming:

Dear Hermit Crab,

You are unfortunately invited to the ANNUAL GRANGER FAMILY REUNION which will be held from 2nd July, this Friday till 5th July in THE GOLDEN SNAKE hotel owned by THE Draco Malfoy. So, bring something nice to wear from your paper bag you call a closer. You can also bring your boyfriend/husband and kids (which I doubt you have any). Also, Augusta has a very big announcement to make.

Scorp shouted, "Are you serious! 'Hermit crab' Really mum?" I just shrugged. Draco declared, "We are going to this reunion. We will show your cousins how successful and beautiful you are so that they will regret teasing and bullying you." Orion smirked, "We should have some fun there, shouldn't we?" I knew that smirk very well. They all smirked the same smirk and nodded there heads then looked at me. I gave in and said, "Alright, alright. We will go there and have fun. But, no magic because they all are muggles." Scrop and Lyra said in unison, "But we can. We are 17" I muttered a small okay. Then Draco said, "Honey, I won't be able to attend a couple of days of the reunion. I am going on a business trip from 1st to 3rd July. I told you about it yesterday. But don't worry. I will be back by Sunday." I sighed and said, "It's ok. Atleast I'll have the kids". Draco gave me a reassuring smile and then we continued eating.
