Off with her Head

That evening Eric left to meet with his Queen so Godric was overseeing Fangtasia in his place while I was behind the bar with Lafayette, and Pam was at the door as the vault.  As usual the place was hopping so I was glad to have help behind the bar.  It also kept my mind busy and off of Godric.  I was confused as to why I felt such a strong pull to him that was growing by the day.  I didn't want to betray Eric but I so badly wanted to be with Godric.  I glanced over at him as I mixed a drink and sighed dreamily.  He's just so handsome.  He's the opposite of Eric in every way.  Where Eric is tall Godric is not.  Where Eric is pale and blonde Godric is not with his olive skin and dark hair.  Where Eric is wild Godric is calm.  Where Eric wouldn't bat an eye at murder Godric is peaceful.  I sighed again.

"Girl is you home?" Lafayette asked.

"Hm, what?" I asked as I finished the drink.

"Girl you've been mixing that drink for five minutes while drooling over your man's maker." Lafayette said.

"Don't exaggerate Faye it's not attractive on you.  I was hardly drooling." I teased with a roll of my eyes.

"Bitch everything on me is muthafucking sexy." Lafayette declared.

I got back to business but it was maybe a half hour when my body needed to dance.  As a Fae I can only be with music so long before I need to dance.  Eric lets me have dance breaks whenever it slows down as it was right now.

"Bitch go take your dance break.  I can handle this.  Let the maker see your moves." Lafayette said.

"I appreciate this Faye." I said dreamily.

A/N: Also yes, she intentionally made his nickname Faye as it amuses her endlessly to call him what she is without him knowing what she is.

I easily hopped up on the bar as my body began automatically moving sensually to the music to the crowds delight.  I then hopped down and began moving around the room as I danced lost to the music.  I wasn't aware as I danced up the stage and began dancing around the throne that Godric sat in.  My body had a mind of its own as I danced seductively for Godric.  I don't know how long this went on before Godric's lips were on my neck and working their way up to my ear.

"My seductress you're needed back at the bar." Godric whispered into my ear while his hand was wandering across my skin.

I shivered in his arms from the feelings his trailing fingers were causing which is when I realized I'd been dancing for him on the stage.  I felt myself flush bright red before darting to the bar fast enough to give away I wasn't human.  I was lucky no one had been paying attention except Lafayette and Godric.

"Bitch what is you?" Lafayette asked.

That's when I realized what I'd done.  Godric was really getting under my skin to have me make such a mistake.

"Better question is what are you Faye?  Trust me, you're something." I said with a wink while getting back to bartending.

What I said worked in making Lafayette wonder about himself that he forgot about what he'd just witnessed.  Thirty minutes before closing Sookie rushed in looking quite panicked.

"Where's Eric Mags?" Sookie asked breathlessly.

"Not here Sook.  What's up?  You're looking pretty fancy." I said as I passed over a drink to a customer.

"I had a date with Bill.  He proposed and I didn't know what to say!  I blanked.  I asked for a moment and went to the bathroom to pull myself together.  I think it's because you don't trust him that it caused doubt in me.  That's not important.  He's missing!  I came back and he was gone.  Car and all.  Just left me with no way to get home.  Why would he do that?  I didn't say no!  He had no reason to leave upset like Kenya suggested.  I know something happened.  Something bad.  I need Eric's help.  The podunk police won't help.  Eric is the sheriff here so he has to help." Sookie said all in one breath.
