She didn't know why she was there. In the endless field of darkness. It only ever caused her pain. Her hair was caught in the breeze, but a figure was unmistakable. It was just out of her line of sight. She tried to run to them, but it seemed that with every step he drew further away. The howling wind threw her off balance and knocked her to the ground. Why must things always be this way. She struggled to get up, she needed to see it. She could never place why, but she was always so drawn to the creature just outside her view. To the thing that had haunted her dreams, she was always so unsure if what everyone else was saying. Other people being around her caused her great anxiety, and pain. But not them, she should be unnerved by it, or even afraid, but she found it's presence calming. But maybe, what she saw as a calming presence was meant to be a warning.
