[ friday night @ five pm ]

"cecilia!" lauren shouted from her bedroom. her friend, cecilia, was on the other side of the door that was separating the two. she was getting ready for the school dance that was happening later tonight. cecilia, of course, was not at all interested in actually going as she didn't particularly enjoy attending events such as these. however, lauren had convinced her to go. "no, i don't want to come out. i look horrible!" she sighed. "please don't make me go, lauren." she added. lauren shook her head in disappointment. "that's enough! i'm coming in." she turned the knob on her bathroom door to reveal a very different looking cecilia. the quaint brunette wore a stunning red dress that was covered in small, white polka dots. the dress complimented her very well. it was a wonder why cecilia had though she looked horrible. lauren chuckled at how ridiculous her friend was acting. "you look beautiful." she smiled proudly, kneeling down to pick up a pair of white high top converse to pair with the outfit. "you should pick out some jewelry too. it always completes the look!" she said excitedly before leaving the bathroom.
