Y/n was just peacefully walking while humming a song looking for demon's to kill while talking with Sabito and Makomo while Zen looked for edible items like herbs and such

"AHHHHHHH!!!! I NEVER SIGNED UP FOR THIS!!!" a random person shouted

When you looked over to the voice you see Tanjiro trying to fight the hand demon
"Sabito, Makomo." light surrounded the two and they turned to weapons

You tried to aim until the gun (sabito) shook

"That was the demon that killed us!" Sabito shouts, makomo was also angry
'Both of you stay calm.' you said in a serious tone, being annoyed and unable to focus because of their item forms buzzing and emotional tie affecting you

'Shit missed the chance to shoot!'

The hand demon
"Tanji!" You run up to him

The demon takes notice of you and sends an arm to your way

"Quickly duck!"
Makomos voice rings in your ears

Tanjiro was confused at the demon because of the fox thing
The demon Ranted about Urokodaki and why he eats his students and finally he attacks

Tanjiro then gets angry and so does Sabito and makomo, their weapon forms shake and I slightly panic and slightly panic more after seeing Tanjiro passed out

"Guys please calm down and focus! I'm struggling to attack with you both buzzing like this!" You shout at them whilst focusing on protecting Tanjiro's body temporarily keeping Sabito in your gun holder on your thigh

"STOP BUZZI-" you shouted in anger, hardly being able to focus because of their emotions you saw one of the demon's hands aiming for you

Bracing for impact but you were met with familiar arms embracing you looking up to see Zen embracing you tightly with blood from the demon's hand spraying behind him

"Makomo, Sabito
You both almost killed her."

The buzzing stopped and you heard a couple of sorry's from them

You exhale in relief "Zen I can handle this!" You reassured him with a smile as he stares at you for a couple of seconds and nod, letting go of you

"N/n Left!" Makomo shouted
You look to the left and saw one of the demons arm trying to squash you and you quickly dodge it

Pulling out Sabito you aim at

"Dammit DIE!" The demon shouted letting out many arms to kill you
You dodge them whilst shooting some

You saw one of its arms trying to get Tanjiro that is currently passed out
"TANJI!" You shout in worry

Before the hand could squash Tanjiro
He woke up, you quickly remembered 'well shit I forgot he's the main character, shouldn't be so worried!'

He jumped on the arm aiming for him and dashed, evading and attacking the hands aiming for him

Reaching your gun out you aim for the arm behind Tanjiro so he can focus more on his attacks

Shooting it the demon's arm exploded the same time as Tanjiro jumped and decapitated the demon's head

The demon focused on Tanjiro instead of you after Tanjiro decapitated it you simply clap energetically

Tanjiro looks at you clapping and shyly blushes

He turns back to the demon and prays and you walk away calmly wanting to kill more with a glum looking Sabito and Makomo hanging their heads down in shame

Tanjiro POV

I finished praying for the demon, I got up and turned my head to face y/n but she's not there? "N/n.?" She was here a moment ago?

I slapped my cheeks and shook my head 'she probably went off somewhere else to look for demons to kill!' I said in my head

It's been a few days since I saw y/n, I'm worried for her

I've asked every demon I saw if they have any clue for a cure for nezuko, I sighed and sat myself near a tree and fixed my bandages

I suddenly he still footsteps and smell a familiar scent, my eyes widened

I got up and immediately ran to the scent, slightly stumbling my leg stings every step I take, but I need to find y/n

I saw the familiar h/c hair and my legs immediately gave out and I fell on y/n!

"Satan on a stick what in the shit?!" She shouted in English, I hugged her tight "Thank god you're alright!" I felt tears forming on the brim of my eyes

She hugged me back tightly "HOLY SHIT TANJIRO YOU LOOK BEATEN UP WAHH I SHOULDN'T HAVE LEFT YOU!!" She hugged me a bit too tightly, I patted her on the back

"Master.. I think you're hugging him too tight.." Zen spoke up behind us, Sabito and Makomo just watched this scene unfold

Zen, Makomo, Sabito! Light surrounds their body as they are yet again in they're normal weapon positions

Sabito on the thigh, Makomo on the left ear, and Zen being tied on the side of the bag

Suddenly y/n carries me bridal style in her arms, my face reddens "Y/n?!" I look at her face with utter confusion, she smiled at me and said "Let's get outta this hell hole! Hold on tight Tanji!" She grins

"Wait I can walk myse-!" She suddenly starts running very fast I closed my eyes tightly, why are the roles reversed?! But.. I enjoy getting this treatment from y/n for some reason
