Albedo coughed, sick from overworking himself he was trying to draw in bed sketching from a variety of photographic reference that Sucrose had collected for him, finishing about 4 sketches of massive oceans, meadows, cliffs.
Albedo paused hearing his study door being unlocked and opened "Hello?" he eked out
Kaeya walked into the study also slipping on the massive paperwork pile across the floors and Albedo's desk.
"Hey just checking up on you- Albedo... you weren't supposed to be working during your resting period" Albedo looked back down at the sketchbook ignoring Kaeya's warning slightly sketching intensely
Kaeya moved toward his small bed sitting atop the freezing covers "are you cold?" he said concerned for Albedo's well being
Albedo shook his head no but he was shivering slightly his hands shaky "I'll be alright..." he said before coughing again
Kaeya took the sketchbook out of his hands placing it atop a desk gently and delicately "Nope, you are taking a break to rest up, you are sick" Albedo tried to reach for his sketchbook furrowing his eyebrows, Kaeya promptly sat closer to him making him unable to grab for it
"I intend on making sure you rest no matter what Albedo."
Albedo shivered the freezing temperature of the room finally hitting him after focusing all of his attention onto the pages of his sketches
Kaeya furrowed his eyebrows mildly concerned "I'm gonna stay the night" he sighed "I have to make sure you get to rest and your freezing you need body heat" he said softly
Albedo nodded finally agreeing that he was sick and cold, and all the other things that Kaeya figured out "Ok... I am sorry if I am being a nuisance-" Kaeya cut him off "Never call yourself that darling"
Albedo blushed not one to be called pet names by others, Kaeya moved Albedo's pillow that was behind him supporting him to sit up to make it so he had to lay down, getting into the covers with him
Albedo felt Kaeya's body heat from behind him as Kaeya gently held him pulling him into his arms
Kaeya softly kissed his cheek "go to bed dumbass heh.", Albedo blushed deep red burrowing his head into Kaeya's chest gently Kaeya nuzzled his nose on top of Albedo's head
Albedo fell asleep in Kaeya's arms he was so light, clearly hadn't eaten well in the past few days
Kaeya ran his fingers through Albedo's hair gently starting to tear holding Albedo tighter "I don't want to lose you..." he sniffled out.
