Anneliese arrives at a new school in a new town, she leaves behind her friends and meets the popular Maxxie Calloway. He is kind gorgeous and happy, and even though he has a girlfriend and high status they find themselves inexplicably drawn to one another. But no one approves of their relationship.

When Marinette and her friends get the opportunity to go to the old nearby kingdom of Aurania, she feels that it's one of the best things to have happened. After all, since there's been a good long break with akumas, this could be a good break from Ladybug for a little while and she can spend more time with her friends and possibly even spend time with Adrien (and maybe admit her feelings to him). However, when she finds herself running into the princess of Aurania, Anneliese, things take a turn when both girls discover... They look the exact same. Things get even crazier when the princess is kidnapped. Suddenly, the royals decide that Marinette should stand in as the princess until they can rescue the real one. Anneliese quickly escapes her hidden captors, though, and runs into Marinette's friends, who know where Marinette is. In order to keep suspicions off when they would get back to Paris, they'll have Anneliese stand in as Marinette. Both girls navigate each other's lives and discover the highs and lows of royalty and heroism. Will they ever get back to their real selves and help take down Annelise's kidnappers? Or are the royals doomed? (yes, i watched too much "barbie as the princess and the pauper;" give me a break. the story was actually interesting and i started wondering what would happen if it was sorta like the movie, only it was with mari and her royal doppelgänger. anyways, enjoy!) Once Upon a Time, two best friends had a double wedding. Princess Anneliese got married to the love of her life, Julian, and Erika got married to King Dominick. Erika had met him while pretending to be Anneliese, who had been kidnapped by Preminger. This lead the two of them to fall in love, because of their love for disguises. This is the story of what happens next. Is Anneliese still a Princess? Do the two couples live in the castle together? Does Erika live in Dominick's castle with him? Read this to find out. The Entire Case History of Anneliese Michel - The REAL "Emily Rose"

Things take a turn when the Equestria Girls enter the world of Barbie in the Princess and the Pauper. Twilight, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, and Sunset find themselves meeting the princess Anneliese, while Pinkie, Rarity, and Fluttershy stumble into the life of the pauper Erika. Both girls seem to be living completely different lives, so it's a shock when Anneliese and Erika meet up, and the only two things that are different about them are their hair and their birthmarks (Anneliese has the royal birthmark; Erika doesn't have any). Suddenly, Anneliese is kidnapped by the minions of the royal advisor, Preminger. Not only that, but Erika rebels from the script and goes along with Rainbow Dash and Sunset to find her. Julian, getting worried, says that Applejack has to pose as the missing princess so they can find her, since she's the closest to Anneliese. However, Anneliese was to marry King Dominic the next week, and he's falling for "Anneliese." Translation: he's falling in love with Applejack. However, Preminger, who had staged Anneliese's kidnapping, knows something's wrong, that either Anneliese escaped so cleverly or that there's something else going on he's unaware of. Meanwhile, the real Anneliese has found herself trapped in the same dress shop Erika lived in, with Madame Carp mistaking her for Erika. The real Erika, Rainbow Dash, and Sunset have just made it to the palace, just as Preminger reveals that Applejack had been playing Anneliese this whole time. With all the confusion going on, will the movie reach the happy ending Pinkie knows and loves? Or will this story change for the worse?
