I was fourteen years old when I volunteered to lead a space mission to Mars. Our goal? We didn't really know. We were told to collect samples from the surface of Mars. We learned something big that day. It was historical. It made the papers.
"Commander Harper Perez and Crew Find Alien Life Forms"
Yeah, so that's what we did. What we learned would alter the course of history. Okay, maybe not so dramatic, but it still was a historic moment. What we learned was big, and important.
Humans aren't alone in the universe. There's something out there, and we have to stop it before it kind of blows humans out of existence. What was supposed to be a fun space mission to Mars turned out to be a horrible life-and-death situation.
Wait, did I forget to mention the crazed bloodthirsty aliens trying to wipe out humanity? Yeah, that's basically my whole life right now, crazed bloodthirsty aliens trying to wipe out humanity.
I hope you like my life story.
*Note*
NASA of 2067 might not want you reading this. It's probably a major failure in their book, but in mine it was a success. Just be forewarned that you might get a discreet visit from the FBI (or Secret Service, or CIA) if you read this. But maybe not. I don't know anymore. Just be prepared for anything. (including a "discreet" visit from the FBI or the Secret Service or the CIA.)
Enjoy reading about my trip to Mars and how it was so much fun! (sarcasm, Marty, that was sarcasm.)
