Le monde a cessé de tourner rond mais les choses n'ont pas tant changé. Si le feu n'est plus à découvrir, le reste suit le même schéma à l'identique, avec pour seule exception que la Mort erre partout. Les macchabées se sont relevés sans prévenir et ils marchent, bras tendus, dans la direction de quiconque à la chance de s'en être sorti. Leur but ? Faire de nous, survivants, l'un de leur semblable pour régner en maîtres sur un monde qui n'appartient plus à l'Homme mais bel et bien à mère Nature.
