Ashley Rivers and her friends are on their way to a football game when everything begins to go wrong, when her friends are taken to the nearby town of Ambrose, Ashley begins to think not everything is as it seems. When Ashley realizes that all of the town's inhabitants are real people covered in wax and two people are out to murder her and her friends she knows that they will all have to fight for their lives or be stranded in a ghost town.

WARNING: this book is based on a horror movie, so there will be a fair amount of blood, gore, torture and things of that nature. Just be prepared for that. 1 of 3 of the house of wax books. I learned I can't paste so this is definitely going to take me longer than I expected it to. The first few chapters may end up the same as the others, but it will branch out as we get further into it.

October West, the bright, flirty dark haired brunette that is the best friend of Carly Jones and the girlfriend of her brother, Nick. She's caught in a dispute between the two after Nick is caught in a stolen car and Carly doesn't help him out, causing a rift in their sibling dynamic. A trip to a football game with their four other friends, Wade, Blake, Paige, and Dalton was supposed to be fun. They'd drink beers, scream their hearts out, and cheer until they'd lose their voices. What they didn't count on was there being a town made completely out of wax. There turns out to be more sinister things going on in this ghost town when the two operators are revealed to be psychotic serial killers who lure in civilians to turn them into wax figurines. Wade and Carly go missing when they arrive there, and it is up to Nick, October, and Dalton to find them. But it won't be that easy.

Clementine Brown is the definition of a good Southern girl. Kind, playful, and talks with a strong Louisiana accent. The type of girl every boy wants to bring home to Mama. Bo Sinclair is no exception. When Clementine rolls up into town with her rude New Yorker friends who have the audacity to break into the notorious Trudy's House of Wax, steal a fanbelt, and call a girl with such a beautiful southern name Emmy, Bo can't help but kill them all... except for Clementine, of course.
