Detective Parker Smith has spent the last four years working deep undercover. When she finally returns to regular detective work at Mid-Wilshire - the same station where she began as a rookie - she finds herself reunited with Officer Tim Bradford. Years ago, the two went undercover together, posing as a couple. What started as an act turned into something real, and they dated for six weeks before Parker transferred to North Hollywood. Life took them down different paths - Tim married Isabel, a narcotics detective - but now, with Tim recently divorced and Parker back in L.A., old sparks begin to resurface. Note: This story begins during Season 2, Episode 4: "Warriors and Guardians." It's my first time starting a story at the beginning of a different season, so this will be an interesting new approach. Since the duffer brothers absolutely queerbaited and bombed byler for season five, I want to rewrite season five with my own narrative so we arent queer baited and get the love story everybody wants. Season Five of Stranger Things was supposed to be Hawkins' darkest hour-but what if the story unfolded the way it should have? This is a rewrite that keeps the stakes high, the suspense real, and the Hawkins gang at the center, without the distraction of extra kids or queerbaiting. Mike Wheeler and Will Byers have always been at the heart of it, their bond deeper than Hawkins can ever understand. Through terror, heartbreak, and mind-bending horrors, they navigate a world that's trying to tear them apart-without ever realizing how much they mean to each other. Hawkins isn't the same without Will-and Mike's about to realize that the person he's been searching for all along has been right in front of him.

Stranger Things season five volume 2 and 3 if I would've written it. This fic starts in the middle of the ending scene of episode four btw and some scenes are still the same or very similar to the actual ones in the show. There are multiple ships in here but the focus is more on Byler :) And also this is my first fanfic and English isn't my first language so I'm sorry if the grammar or punctuation isn't right.
