Y/N L/N, a brand new trainer at Tracen Academy and a long-term fan of Uma Racing, is given the opportunity to create a team and a name for himself. Among those at the academy, Mejiro McQueen is one of the few to be taken under Y/N's wing, which results in more than just training. With a new goal and job, Y/N is expected to produce results. Can he live up to the trainers of the past? Or will his newfound career and dream end early? ------ This is going to be my first attempt at writing something non-cringeworthy in years. I hope this book is what some of you fellow McQueen fans have been looking for. Feel free to give any feedback, much appreciated! Also, I will not be following the anime plot line too strictly, however I do intend to follow it loosely for sake of moving the plot along smoothly along with some McQueen time in there. Thank you for reading! Cover Art by Hare Konatsu on Pixiv Umamusume belongs to Cygames

"...The 2nd favorite to win, is Lady T!" A male announcer spoke over the loudspeaker, a female voice, the second announcer speaking. "No doubt about it, it's been seen over and over again at this track, that one of her best qualities is her endurance. So, I'm looking to see a good race, coming from her today." "It's true that her endurance is rather incredible, but will it be enough to tackle 1,700 meters in wet dirt? I think it'll all come down to her rivals today! An how well they perform." Walking out of the tunnel as they finished their commentarial assessment, they move onto me, the crowd erupts into cheers and shouts upon my revealing. "Speaking of Rivals, we've got someone with no shortage of rivalry's! The crowd favorite! And the favorite to win!" The male announced, the female announcer taking over, as I do not wave to anyone, I keep my head down, my blank, almost empty expression told of confliction. Approaching the start area, where others lye in wait. "Lexington has been on a incredible winning streak this year, in fact he's never lost a single race yet, since his debut last Fall. Though, none of these races were graded. So today, will be his first Graded race. I wonder, will he be able to keep up this incredible momentum he's created?" "I'd say a better question isn't rather he can keep up, but rather will he be able to run well in the dirt in these conditions?" "Rather he can or can't, I'm confident that he's going to make tonight's race an incredible one"

The Cost of Being Reliable is a reflective long-form essay that examines how dependability, often praised as a virtue, can quietly become a burden. Written from the perspective of a university student, the piece explores how responsibility shifts from a choice into an identity, and how expectations-academic, social, and emotional-accumulate over time without being questioned. Through lived experiences, careful observation, and thoughtful reflection, the essay reveals the invisible costs of always being the one who shows up: emotional fatigue, suppressed resentment, loss of rest, and the gradual erosion of personal boundaries. Rather than condemning reliability, the work challenges readers to reconsider how it is practiced and at what personal expense. At its core, this essay is about awareness and balance. It invites readers to reflect on their own relationship with responsibility and to imagine a form of reliability that allows for contribution without self-erasure. Quiet, honest, and deeply human, The Cost of Being Reliable speaks to anyone who has ever carried more than their share simply because they could.

"Why? Why are you doing this?" My voice broke at the end. Aariz remained stoic , emotionless. "This is how it was supposed to be." He turned to leave. "NO..no. You don't get to decide that. You can't leave . Not without any explanation ." I ran and stood in front of him. I don't care if I am looking desperate at this point. I want him to talk. "Say, Aariz." I said as my eyes teard up. "Tell me the truth." "I can't ." He looked tired. Painfully exhausted. "Then why did you do this? Why did you marry me?" My blood boiled , a sheer fury ran through my spine. "To let you go. " Then.. Then.. He went away . Just like that. Like he never came. ______________________________________ 'You should have let me in , not let me go Aariz. We could have made more memories together and I could have cherished those. Now we simply don't have the time." My eyes red, my voice wavering, my body shivering. "We will make the best use of the least time we have, Noor." His eyes promised me , just like his words.

It's about beauty growing over what already exists - delicate feelings layered across wide, open fields. new poems weekly. The title is one of my favorite metaphors I've ever written. It can be interpreted in many ways: strength and softness, contrast and coexistence, what stands out and what quietly holds everything together. Take in every word slowly. Let it mean whatever it needs to mean to you. Happy reading. 🌾

Some stories don't begin with love. They begin with silence. In a quiet school classroom, where rain taps softly against the windows, Rihaan sits by himself observant, guarded, and more comfortable with sketches than words. He notices details others miss, speaks only when necessary, and carries a pain he never explains. Priya arrives without noise, but with curiosity. She doesn't try to fix Rihaan or force him to open up. She simply notices the empty seat, the unfinished drawings, the silences that feel heavier than words. Slowly, without meaning to, she begins to care. We Never Said It First is a slow-burn story about first attachment the kind that grows quietly, before anyone dares to name it. It's about: missing someone without calling it love understanding before confession pain that enters softly, without explanation and connections built through shared silence rather than spoken promise There are no dramatic declarations here. Only rain, empty benches, unfinished sketches, and feelings that arrive long before words do. This story is for those who believe that love doesn't always begin with happiness sometimes, it begins with concern... and the things we never said first.

They say the mothers of today's generation want their daughters to be independent. They also say that the past was better, simpler, more virtuous. But was it really? If the old times were truly so good, then why did women feel compelled to change? Why do today's mothers insist that their daughters stand on their own feet? This novel is the story of Anju, told entirely in her own words. Anju is a middle-class woman from the millennial generation who lived sixty years of her life much like countless women of her time-quietly carrying responsibilities, suppressing desires, and accepting roles that were chosen for her long before she understood them. Through her memories, she revisits a world shaped by tradition, expectations, sacrifice, and unspoken rules that governed a woman's existence. As Anju reflects on her life, the reader is invited to question the nostalgia surrounding the "good old days." What was it about that era that forced women to adapt, endure, and eventually seek change? What did independence mean then, and why has it become a necessity now? This is not just Anju's story-it is the story of an entire generation of mothers whose lives quietly laid the foundation for the freedoms their daughters now seek.
