Even though, ultimately, she would have preferred to remain in Tartarus rather than rebel against the Titan king. Nobody believes their mother that they were her kids for the all looked complete different. There mother had red hair and blue eyes. When their mother dies after the funeral, a note is given to them. It gave them an address called Half-Blood Hill. Hendrix has no problem when it comes to dating. Ember on the other hand does not believe in love. It is not for a long time till she meets someone that will change her ways.
