Shoto Todoroki x fem! reader Katsuki Bakugo has a cousin. she inherited her quirk from her grandmother, who used to be one of the best pro heroes of her time. after unexpected events her life turns upside down and as her and her cousin enroll in the U.A. she meets new friends, learns new tricks with her quirk and also falls for a certain half'n'half bastard. She was never meant to stand out. Not with a quirk that moves in the dark. After failing to make Class 1-A, Y/N learns how cruel it is to be overlooked, even when you're strong. Shoto Todoroki, meanwhile, is seen by everyone... but understood by no one. When the U.A. Sports Festival pushes them into each other's line of sight, two lonely prodigies begin to notice what the rest of the world has missed. Sometimes the strongest bonds are formed in the shadows.

There's nothing particularly special about the kingdom ruled over by the Todoroki line. There are the typical classes; royals, nobility, commoners, beggars. (Y/n) (L/n) is the sole daughter of the (L/n) household; one of the top noble families of the kingdom's center. You had been raised with one purpose: become the perfect bride for the prince. For the noble families of your generation were quite lucky, neighboring kingdoms did not have any princesses to be married to the bachelor prince, Shouto Todoroki. You hate that idea; you want to be free and you are grateful and thank the world every day for your fortunate lifestyle, you do not want to live by the noble restrictions. You're young, curious, and clever and manage to find your way to sneak out at night to enjoy a life that would make your mother faint. One night you meet someone, someone you connect with and who oddly seems to have a lot of the same feelings about noble life despite being a commoner...not to mention he dances like a master. (Y/n) Aizawa lived most of her life with her mom due to her quirk progressing she couldn't go to regular school so she was home schooled. After a few incidents while (Y/n) was sleeping, her mother wanted nothing to do with (Y/n). So she ended up dumping the child on to the child's father - Shota Aizawa. From the new development that his daughter gained from her quirk he made her go to U.A. where they could help with her quirk.

But that never bothered me, my parents were quirkless as well. I thought I would grow up normal. But when I turned six, my quirk kicked in. Now I didn't have a powerful quirk, I couldn't control fire or turn to stone. But I would be able to call animals at the snap of my fingers. They were my familiars and my family. It took a while to understand them and control them, when I was younger the wolves wouldn't even acknowledge me! I know I won't be as powerful as All Might or even some of my classmates, but I know I can become a hero. Someone who can save people from danger. Someone who can protect the innocent, something I couldn't do.
