Nineteen-year-old Simone never wanted to be special. She just wanted to live a normal life. But after witnessing her mother get brutally attacked, Simone awakes at a mysterious school for the "specially talented" and is suddenly thrown into a strange world of psychics, witches, werewolves, and vampires. As Simone discovers more about her mother's past, she also learns that she, herself, is much more unique than she had ever realized.
