"Johnny, I don't know about us," Josephine says skeptically. "Our people don't mix." "So what? I know what I feel for you is real and I don't care what anyone thinks," I declare. "Don't you feel the same way?" "I do, maybe I'm just being paranoid," she sighs. I smile softly at her and place a kiss on her forehead. She pulls me close and kisses me deeply. My body gets hot quickly as she runs her fingers down my torso. I glide my hand up her thigh but feel it stop suddenly. "I uh.." "We don't have to do it if you're not ready," I tell her. Josephine looks at me innocently before grabbing onto my belt. "I'm ready. I want you Johnny Cade." When Johnny notices the new girl at school he can already tell she's a social, but there is something about her that's different. The two inevitably form a friendship and eventually something more, but when word gets around about the lovebirds, a strain is put on their relationship making them question if they can truly be together or if they should stick to staying in their own cliques. Disclaimer: I do not own any of the characters except for the Mason family and Frankie. The other character belong to S.E Hinton
