Liam Walsh, Nick Kavanagh, and Jeremy Sawyer only have one thing in common: They're seniors at St. Ignatius Academy, an all boys Catholic preparatory school in northern Massachusetts. Once a boarding school, their residential program ended decades ago. Now a commuting school, many boys travel miles and miles to and from school each day to get the best possible education.
Jeremy, the poorest kid in school, earned a full four year football scholarship. Everyday he takes the train to and from South Boston, his parents determined to make him the first Sawyer success story, which they failed to do after their first born, Bobby, was tragically killed in a drunk driving accident at the age of 20.
Jeremy also happens to be Liam's biggest crush of all time. Liam, son of a judge and state senator, would never dare come out to anybody while at that school. Instead, he spends days fantasizing about the beautiful and intriguing Jeremy Sawyer, the best wide receiver the school's ever had.
Nick, the stepson of the school's high school English teacher, is not only cute, blond, loud, boisterous, and sometimes obnoxious, he is also one of the only openly gay students in the school. And he possibly has the biggest secret of all, a secret he could never tell his mother, the most faithful of faithful Catholics.
These three young men are united after an incident at school lands them in a week long detention. And it all started after Jeremy's so-called friends dared him to kiss the one boy who would kiss him back.
Is it possible for three people fall in love with each other?
This is not a traditional boyxboyxboy story. If you are looking for fluff or a Hallmark movie type of romance (i.e. unrealistic), then this story is not for you.
