"Eyes aren't the windows to the soul-- dreams are." After a horrible accident that killed her friends, 17 year old Lenore Bel found herself in a whole heap of trouble. The main problem, though, is the fact that she can not remember anything before getting into a car while heavily intoxicated. Her whole life is a cloudy existence. The only thing keeping her afloat is the dreams that haunt her every night. They're filled with everything she needs to know and understand, but are the penetrable? Lenore has now found herself being moved across the United States with her foster parents to a town that is busy with rain, storms, and good looking boys. Instead of an exciting newness, she feels that someone-- or something is watching her at every corner. Her dreams are also getting stronger. Plus, her mind seems to be stuck with the gorgeous guys next door, Brighton and Case. Will Lenore find the answers she seeks within herself or will she need others to help? Will the beautiful boys next door give Lenore a key to her past? Does her amnesia have a bigger meaning?
