Depression compresses all life into one seemingly meaningless void of inattentive, indifferent messes. John Hawthorne himself was afflicted with depression since he was young, and has struggled with it all throughout his life. Going through college, graduating, none of it brought him a cure to the horrible disease. After finally buying a house for himself out in the middle of seemingly nowhere New York, he gets laid off from his job due to cuts that had to be made. While in his darkest moment, he's visited by the Seven Deadly Sins, who try to find him a way out of the rut he's dug himself into.
