Steve is... well... your ordinary Steve, pretty much. He's just a little confused - he's found himself in the physical world of Minecraft with no memory of who he was beforehand. After a near-death encounter with the dangerous Mobs, he finds himself in the home of a girl who calls herself A.K.. With careful investigation and more almost-dying, Steve learns that A.K. and other people living in the 'server' call themselves 'players' and that they know about as much as he does: They're living in Minecraft, and their point is to survive. But Steve is actually very different from them. First off, he doesn't have another name he can remember, unlike the other 'players', who remember something called a 'username'. Second, he has terrible instincts, but he's the fastest learner A.K.'s ever taught. Third, he's apparently the only one who knows how to escape their virtual prison. And fourth, he's haunted by dreams of a man who looks exactly like him, but with eerie, glowing white eyes. He's learning that 'survival' pretty much sums up his entire world. But what about the one he came from?
