(Y/n), a young teenager living her normal human life. Wake up, go to school, go home, sleep. Everyday was the same. Wake up, go to school, go home, sleep. Over and over again. They were tired of being a small speck in this gigantic world, floating around, waiting for something to happen, to feel anything but... Nothing.

One day, while (Y/n) was sitting in class, drawing circles on her scars with a sharpie, a large earthquake hit the small city (Y/n) lived in. All the students were panicking, teachers trying to get them undercover. (Y/N) quickly tucked under her desk, not sure what else to do. Little did she know it wasn't an earthquake. It was a villan from a different world.

What will happen when (Y/n) is taken from her home, used as an experiment by this villain? What will happen when her hero turns out to not be the hero she expected?

Sonic and friends unwillingly travel to another dimension and upon arrival realise that they are not able to freely show their special abilities to the public or bad things may await. They have to live mundane lives during their time there. Some get jobs in order to blend in and earn their keep. Little do they know a certain egg themed villain is attempting to find this world to conquer as well as defeat the heros hiding in plain sight. Will they stop him without being captured by the villains of this world? Or will the villain rise to the top, rendering the heros useless? Eventual Sonadow, Rougeknux, Blazeamy, and Mephilver. 16+ there are adult themes and topics in this book not suitable for minors, nothing explicit, which is why I put 16+ rather than 18+. The world was split apart 50 years ago. In panic, some people decided to create a city on one of these peices of the planet. To control their people and keep them from finding out a way to restore the world as it was. To avoid anyone finding out they placed walls around the city and promised to protect anyone who goes in. Everything there is perfect. Freedom, food, clothing, everything you need is provided by the government of this city. But once you make it out things are way different. A war is happening and the citizens are unaware, too cozy with their "perfect" lives to notice how the government they love so dearly has been experimenting and creating "weapons" right under their noses. The Werebeast, the governments weapon to winning the war, has escaped from their control with their proud inventor. ___ Or- Sonic and Tails are on the run from the government outside the city. Someone is sent after the famous Werebeast. The most famous name outside the city has enemy's coming his way every second.

He hissed trying to starighten up to analyze around himself, leaning on the frame of the bed with a sigh. A headache piercing through his head. He forced his heavy hand up to his head and tried to stop the pain. With the pain, his memories became more confused and blurred. Still couldn't understand or remember what's going on, he felt more anixious by the minute. Before he can panic, a hand softly gripped his shoulder, gently urging him back towards the welcoming pillows. Seeing a blurry image of a royal blue figure his rapid heart beat slows down. He held the book against his chest as if his life depended on it. He had promised, he wouldn't let go of it. His breath was heavy and ragged, the smoke filling his lungs intrusively. Green eyes snapped everywhere, looking desperately for an exit. He jumped when his back met the thick wall behind him, his eyes landing on the awful smoky creature. Each step it took made a sloppy sound that made the blue hedgehog cringing. Sonic was screwed. He tightly shut his eyes as he saw the creature jumping towards him, protecting the book instinctively. But when he thoughts that he would hear his own scream, his ears perked up at the sound of an audible squeak and a grunt. He peeked one eye out, seeing only smoke from where the monster was a second ago. Sonic's eyes widened and he looked around immediately, his hands slightly shaking. As he looked up at a roof, he noticed a silhouette, standing there, a giant smoky scythe resting over his shoulder. His crimson red eyes locked onto green emerald ones. "Pathetic." the figure said, making a shiver run up Sonic's spine." The prototype is supposed to send the person either forward or backwards in time, something the Commander seems obsessed with. However, something goes wrong and Shadow is teleported into an alternate Universe. As Shadow tries to find a way back home, he is roped into a crazy adventure. And a romance he never thought could happen. ------- I know I already have a story with the same name but I decided to re-write it. It was about damn time too. So, If you haven't read the original one, then please don't. It's horrible and my goal is to try and make this one better. Same plot, just with more chapters and a more flushed out story.
