*Under editing* "I don't think this one is worth all my positions, Gregory. She already looks like a twig without any buds." The stout man chuckled and the praetorium filled with hideous laughter. He squeezed Roseanne's bottom and grinned. The nerve in her jaw ticked so hard she thought it might broke. Roseanne adjusted her chains and took a grip of the man's hands. His eyes widened at the sudden manoeuvre. "Touch me again and I will show you why they do not let female warriors in here." Her cold voice was filled with poison. The fat person's obese frame shook as he laughed. He pushed Roseanne towards the broken table. Before the man could process the further things, Roseanne pulled out the old table's leg and stabbed it's pointy end into the fat person's chest. Pieces of wood came out from his wound along with the blood, he let out a hoarse scream. Roseanne's lips turned into a lopsided smile. ___ We leave something of ourselves behind when we leave a place, we stay there, even though we go away. And there are things in us that we can find again only by going back there. Roseanne gets a penance to work as a warrior in north Britain's military. As a trained assassin she's vicious and cruel, and apart from that she's a vampire as well. Roseanne searches for her past from which she has compelled out by another vampire.
