Humans have migrated since our early stages of development as a civilization. We've searched for new places to conquer, new lands to farm and new seas to sail on. At some point in time, the only thing left unknown was one enormous thing: the world beyond our planet. In Maissa's world, everyone is basically a nomad. The entire humanity is travelling from one solar system to another, with no dreams to set roots again after losing their home galaxy. But Maissa is more than a nomad, she's a Traveller. After losing her dad, Maissa has a constant inner fight between moving on with her life and screwing everything she fought for in order to follow in her father's footsteps. One day, after tirelessly trying to finish her thesis, she decides to meet up with a friend for advice and moral support. But she realises her world is different from what she remembers. And she seemed to hop from one multiverse to another every time she walks through a door. Maissa will learn that her father's legacy consists of more than a few history books and a tarnished reputation. And just how easy it is to lose your way home, when you don't feel like you had one in the first place. What keeps one rooted? The memories? The heirlooms? Your family? Or the feelings you harboured for all of the above? Maissa will have to figure out soon if she wishes to ever return home again.
