The Adventures of Mink is a 90% comedy/10% scifi/1% real-life comic book script. It is crucial to understand that this comic is a JOKE in the most literal sense of the word. Every page of this comic it not meant to be taken seriously. I guess I would put it in the absurdist class of comedy genre if I had to. It has been inspired (especially the main character) by people in my life. I find that life can sometimes be the most unpredictable story one can experience. I promise that many of the stupid quotes in this script are INDEED taken from my real life. However, the characters (while inspired by real life) are OBVIOUSLY fictitious. That being said, this story is not devoid of "heartfelt" moments and moments that will make you root for the protagonist. There IS an overarching story and there ARE messages to be found. The story may even take some darker turns... But it's mostly just stupid. Really, really stupid. Martin "Mink" Michaels is an unassuming young lad that lives in the small town of Oglesberry. He has a passion for life but also a penchant for saying ridiculous and endlessly quotable lines. Much to his dismay, Mink finds himself socially awkward and unable to get along with his peers. Many times he appears to not be the brightest crayon in the box. But, in fact, Mink is a genius. So much of a genius that a mysterious multi-dimensional-CEO and his corporation of cubicle brains are desperately seeking to eliminate him. It will take Mink realizing his true potential as well as his foreign friend, his sarcastic computer assistant, and an Israelite named Dale to reclaim the whole of the omniverse.
