Bijou Guardians: Exordium

The Bijou Nation, home of plentiful jewels and vast power. Within the Bijou Nation, there lives a magical presence from certain people. These people are selected by the leaders of the nation at a young age to attend Hávaar Academy when they turn eighteen years old. Because of this, the Hávaar Academy is the most prestigious academy in the nation. Attending the Hávaar Academy are four students: Maël Szczëka, a Polish first-year student, is joining the military of the Academy. Euphemia Barringer, an ethnically diverse first-year student, and Maël's love interest, is studying nursing at the Academy. James Archibald, a madcap first-year student who has been friends with Maël since junior high, is studying enigmatology. Finally, Dmitri Kuznetsov is a final-year student who is desperate for a friend and will do whatever it takes to get one. One day, while Maël is walking home from class, a crazy old man runs into him, and suddenly passes out. A mysterious man comes to help the old man. Unbeknownst to Maël, his meeting with the mysterious man was not fate. Find out what happens to Maël as he begins his adventure of learning what lies beneath Hávaar Academy in the thrilling story of the formation of the Bijou Guardians.
