Hazel Jones is a beautiful, independent and generous farmer from the country. Her life is going nowhere until she meets Mason Cook, a strong, mechanic with a passion for helping. But, the pressures of Mason's job as the areas mechanic causes him to be blind to Hazel's increase of affection. With no return of affection, Hazel is led to believe that Mason doesn't feel the same. To distract herself from her one-sided feelings, Hazel decides to join the towns mixed AFL team to distract her from her feelings. Finally, when a star football player from the next town, Daniel Hampton, takes a liking to Hazel and threatens to come between them, Mason comes to the realisation that he has feelings for Hazel. But will they ever find the love that they deserve?
