This is a fanfiction based off of Crystal scherer's upon wings of change, I recommend that you read hers first as hers is better and more detailed than mine.

A New Beginning: Tessa's Story by CrystalScherer
55 parts Complete
Optional sequel to Upon Wings Of Change. (This is a version with *JUST* Tessa's POV (different from the main version, which has 3 POVs. Was my attempt to revise the slower pacing, but I'm not sure how well it worked, but since I put in the work, here it is.) Summary: The dragonets are flourishing; both those in the park and those helping the Kymari. As the first dragonets to hatch in the Kymari civilization, Tessa and her brother are paving a new path as they grow up and learn how to fit into the world. New beginnings are often great things, but sometimes shadows from the distant past come calling. Excerpt: I braced my feet against the wall as I pulled. Suddenly, the lever swung downward. I lost my grip and tumbled backward. I landed on my side and slid across the counter. My legs and tail flailed as I tried to get to my feet or slow down-but I didn't manage it in time. Almost in slow motion, my feet went off the counter as I slid into the air. Without thinking, my wings popped open and beat hard as I twisted, trying to turn right side up so I could fly properly. I blinked in shock when I realized I was already flying upward. Grinning triumphantly, I beat my wings again and went back to the counter. Pleased with my flying abilities, I proudly landed on the counter - and forgot to slow down, which promptly sent me sliding across the slippery surface, lightly colliding with the glass door. I ducked my head sheepishly, glad no one else had seen that. My eyes locked onto the gap between the glass doors. With an eager grin, I pressed my shoulder against the edge and pushed. My feet struggled to find traction, but it was opening! Once I pushed the door far enough, I scampered over to the cantaloupe. It was much bigger up close. I blinked slowly, trying to think about how I was going to move it. There was no way I'd be able to lift it. It was round though. Round things could roll, right?

No one ever said what would happen when dragons and aliens meet. And no one told me that I would be in the middle of it. Tasha was studying hard to get through her last year of university when she was kidnapped. She certainly didn't expect to wake up with four feet and wings. Mad scientists are bad enough, but things get even more complicated when aliens appear and wipe out the human race. Is there a way for her to hide her true identity in this new world while retaining her humanity? --------------------- Sneak Peek: I jumped over the lip of the tray and beat down hard with my wings. I had expected to only slow my fall; I had not expected to end up gaining so much height. I squawked in surprise and spread my wings wide in alarm before gravity regained its hold on me. With several awkward back-winging motions of my wings, I landed lightly on the floor. Well, at least I know my wings work. I glanced at the man in the corner as he was scribbling quick notes. I turned around to regard the tray again. They say practice makes perfect. With another hop and a single wingbeat, I managed to land in the sand tray with fanned wings slowing my momentum. That was much more graceful. But a wing-assisted hop wasn't true flight. And I still wasn't on the windowsill. ---------------------------- Entire semi-polished draft can be read on Wattpad. 𝗗𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁... 𝗼𝗿 𝗱𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗹𝘆? Life in the rainforest is peaceful. The RainWings live in a place where everything is shared. Food is plentiful, no one ever fights, and even in the midst of war, the kingdom is quiet. Chameleon would never expect anything bad to happen in the forest. A normal dragonet at first, Chameleon discovers that the RainWings are anything but nice. After a nasty encounter, he gains a snout deformity that affects his scales. He suddenly discovers that he has no respect, no friends, and no hope. Eventually, Chameleon is exiled for one simple reason: He is different from everyone else. And then the RainWings do something that Chameleon would never forgive them for. Brimming with fury, Chameleon sets out to prove everyone that indeed he is different- but better than them all. But nothing could prepare Chameleon for what he discovers out in the wilds of Pyrrhia- something so influential that not even Chameleon himself could grasp the true power of it. Now he discovers he has a chance of rewriting his identity, his history, and his future. At last, Chameleon has the potential to make a difference... but what will this scarred, bitter dragon do with his newfound power? _____________________________________________________________ Chameleon ran over to Moss, who was crying, her wings askew. "Did you kill them?" he whispered to Moss. Moss looked up at Chameleon, her eyes glistening with tears. "No," she choked. "You know I wouldn't. That monster- Jaguar- pinned it on me. I promise, Chameleon. I didn't kill anyone. Why are they blaming it on us? What did we do?" "I have an idea," said Chameleon quietly, dangerously. He hissed. "Being different. That's what happened." He drew himself up and curled his claws in. "Trust me, Moss, I will get my revenge." Because no one should be punished for being different. _____________________________ [DISCONTINUED BOOK]

9 parts Complete Mature
(HIATUS) this fanfiction is recommended for the ages 15-17 for it contains mature themes and is graphic in nature. viewer discretion is advised. dude is a loser, he's always felt like he was at the bottom since his childhood. but hey, let's talk about his other aspects shall we? there's something about dude and his love for the vast open space. when he was a child, his curious mind stared at the moon every night. wondering if one has gone there, or if he can too. and it was settled, his dream was to become an astronaut exploring the stars, and beyond! but in order to achieve his dreams he has to work hard for it. and as he prioritized his studies from primary school all the way to graduation, i'll let you imagine what he looks like after sleepless nights of books and assignments. but speaking of graduation, as of now our little dude had just graduated high school. during his highschool days he always dreamed of going to his dream university. and after years of planning, saving up, and a disastrous bus drive on his way to the city, there it was. his highschool dream right in front of him. and little did dude know, that one happy accident will change his perspective in life. this is a solarballs au, a very different one than the norm. it's more of a retell, a what if. what if solarballs was seen through a different lens? a different setting perhaps? if you expect this to be a light hearted story, be warned that this au will contain very heavy topics. i love solarballs as a neurodivergient and this au has already existed since the start of my solarballs hyperfixation. i'm very excited to share the story of this retelling of solarballs to you all! and keep in mind that this is a retell, so some characters and storylines will not be the same as the original. though, i will still try my best to make it atleast similar to the original solarballs version. have fun reading!
