"When did you wake up?"........ "What did you use to do before aliens harvested Earth?" .............. "Do you think we're going to die in these cells?" These are questions I've faced since awakening. All come from scared females of all races. They have us categorized by our level of aggression. Judging by the looks of my Co-Captives were the 'small, weak and harmless' group. No female on my floor is higher than 5'4. Absolutely no extra muscle mass, maybe some have toned stomachs.......but that's it. Hollowed cheeks and pale skin shudder in unified horror. As different shades of horned, sharp fanged monsters herd us to and from. Our tiny cells to the cramped recreational room they have us eat in. It's shocking being unfrozen and learning that your life is no longer yours to live. It is horrific to see faces that reflect the feelings you're feeling. Only amplifying the traumatizing new reality. Feigning strength is only for those who have hope. Their was a time when I was a therapist, preaching how important it is to have hope to my client's. Pretending this wasn't real was possible tell they put me in the rec room. Each question chipped away at my self reserve. Hope is something we all lost the moment we awoke.
