Everything moved in slow motion. I watched his body recoil from the shot then fall, like a forgotten toy from the arms of a child off the building and out to view. I clamped my hand over my own mouth to keep from crying out and giving away my position. Tears stung at my eyes, rolling down my cheeks and my heart pounded in my ears. No. A firm hand on my shoulder pulled me back into reality. "Are you okay, Agent?" A familiar face asked. No I was not okay, did they even see what just happened? But they where right, I had a job to do. I shook the hand off and got into possession. I had a job to do.
