15 year old Iman Darwish is what you would usually call an ordinary Muslim girl. When she attends a public school, full of students who hate people like her, she experiences hardship and struggles to adapt. One particular boy, Noah Thomas, has his eyes on her, though. His family has an ancestry of people who hated Muslims. Through complications at school, Iman and Noah must cope with the problems that fly at them, while Noah learns to get over his grudge and Iman learns to be more understanding and faithful. Will Noah grow to like Islam, or is he more comfortable with hating it?
