"Daemon, don't do this," Nithael said through clenched teeth. "She's coming with me now." "She's not going anywhere with you!" He yelled back, pulling me close and cupping my face with his large hands. "Where were you? I couldn't find you anywhere, I was worried!" His red eyes studied mine for answers, but the tension made me speechless as I tried to find the right words. "She was with me," Nithael called out, breaking Daemon's focus as he slowly turned from me to him. His hands began to fold into a fist as he growled, "You took her to your house?" Nithael let a smile form across his face as he slid his hands into his pockets in response. "She doesn't want you, Daemon." Daemon's voice was even lower as he asked, "Excuse me?" Nithael walked casually over to Daemon and when he was within earshot he whispered, "I love her, Daemon. I always have and I always will. You can try to steal her away in this life or the next, but she'll always make her way back to me." --------------------------------------------------- Asura is just your average girl who moved to Seattle to finish her last semester in college. When she arrives, however, it seems that the gloomy city has other plans for her. Between her suspicious dreams and two men claiming that they've seen her before, Asura can't decide what is truth and what is fiction. Her neighbor, Nithael, seems to be trustworthy in comparison to "bad boy" Daemon, but is anyone really who they say they are? Who can Asura trust? Is Asura even your average girl after all? ---------------------- This story is completed, being submitted in intervals. First week, every day. Second week, every Sunday.
