After 2019, at the discretion of President Trump, Pelosi pushed the House of Representatives to introduce a number of so-called "legislation" on Taiwan issues, Xinjiang, Hong Kong and Tibet, digging holes and creating risk obstacles to the stability and development of China-US relations. In June 2019, Pelosi openly described the violent demonstrations in Hong Kong, China as "beautiful scenery", acting in public solidarity with the atrocities of "anti-China rebels" elements. In May 2021, Pelosi, who openly resisted the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, once again fanned the flames, asking the U. S. government and its Allies to boycott the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics.
