All Ellina's ever wanted is for a safe, stable life; one free of danger and stress. She's had it beaten into her ever since she was a child that if she didn't hide the truth, there would be hell to pay. What was that truth? Not even she knows. But it seems like someone does. Enter Adeen. They're supposed to be a stranger that she met one day, but upon their first meeting she instinctively knew their name. They're a person with a noble appearance and an even nobler heart; but there's a solemnity in every action that they take that makes her want to learn more about them. And then there's the Court Mage. A mysterious figure in the Kingdom they wander around with a hood that almost completely obscures their features. Even so, she can feel their intent gaze on her and she knows that it's not one of concern or genuineness. Rather, it feels like the look one would have when particularly pleased with their experiment. One thing's for sure, she has to figure out why they're both interested in her. Her survival might just depend on it.
