After waking from a 10,000 year sleep Lance and his sister Allura are the last of there people. Now they are tasked with leading the pladians of voltron to save the universe. 
But after becoming the Blue Lions pladian Lance goes on a solo mission to locate the missing Red Lion and its pladian. But when Lance is thought to be attacked and the Blue lion is missing who will rescue him from this unknown plant. 

This follows that begining of voltron but thats it. Soooo NO SPOILERS WOOP WOOP.All Rights Reserved

His family is captured by the galra and he lives with his uncle and was found by allura for his mastery in mechanics and culinary. Allura Is a princess before zarkon attacked and took over her kingdom, for 1 year she's been storing her magic to defeat zarkon and haggar in one attack, she gathered four paladins and only needs the blue paladin, once she has found all 5 paladins, she and the five paladins must search for the five lions of voltron. Coran is a master healer and has assisted allura on her mission to overthrow zarkon in order to once again reclaim her crown and rebuild the kingdom they once lost.

Lance is on the same ship as Keith, but in a standard cell, he is just trying to figure out a way to get him and Keith free. Hunk already escaped, and got his lion, he has been making a b-line for the Balmera and Shay. He was in the lowest security cell, so broke out pretty easily. The Galaxy has been searching for their heroes, the Paladins of Voltron, and they get closer every day. The Garrison have been trying to get in contact with the Paladins for years now, unaware that those who they need to rescue them, are the ones in need of rescuing. Different situation to the end of season six and of season seven. I know this isn't what happens, but this is a Fanfic, not the actual thing. Go to Netflix if you can't handle this, but seriously.
