After losing her parents to the plague on a ship to the colonies, Hermine Ambroise had a tough life, but yet she lived life the best she could, standing by and believing her values. Then she happy reunite with her close friend, a French boy named Henri LeFevbre, who was in the same ship Hermine was on and was there for her through the rough times on that ship. ( Henri also had feelings for Hermine the first moment he laid eyes on her). With Hermine staying at Dr. Franklin's printshop, the two then continued their unbreakable bond with each-others, going through the exciting yet rocky road of the revolution, and eventually realize they live each other more than friends.
