Time passes in the blink of an eye when you're thousands of years old-or it should, assuming you don't spend that time trapped in a Hell dimension.

When Demonstar breaks her chains and returns to the land of the living, she's not prepared for the ways the world has changed. Her once-trusted friends and allies have long since scattered to the wind, while her enemies have thrived. The land she once saw as her birthright has disintegrated, and a steel-coated facsimile has risen in its place. The fault for the death she fought to avenge has been assigned to her. This is not her world, and she's unprepared to face it.

However, the world isn't ready for her, either.

The planet is on the brink of a secret interspecies war, and the only option is to fight-regardless of how modern society will react.

After all, what else is a fallen angel supposed to do?
