At sea, where the waves rise up and slam against the sharp cliffs, clawing at them to bring them to the briny depths, there's a law. A superstition, if you will, that women on ships bring bad luck. If any woman is found onboard, they are to have their legs tied and weighted, and they are to be thrown into the water to drown. But these women don't drown. They fight, and they struggle as they're dragged to the bottom of the water, and they learn to breathe. The women beckon. The men are sure to follow.
