I should get a better job. But apparently dressing up in colonial clothing and acting like I just toppled heads-over heels out of 1776, is the only thing I'm good at. Cricket Fawcett is nothing special. She's your typical college dropout, wannabe actress, and a major theatre nerd. In her attempt to dig herself out of homelessness, she managed to apply, get hired, and retain her current job as a historical tour guide. The pros? She finally has an apartment, and she gets to dress up like Molly Pitcher and Eliza Schuyler while still being taken seriously. The cons? She's still nineteen, struggling to live just above the poverty line , and is very still bored with her current life. Of course, things instantly get a lot less boring when someone topples straight from 1804 and into her life.
