As You Like It is a pastoral comedy by William Shakespeare believed to have been written in 1599 and first published in the First Folio in 1623. The play's first performance is uncertain, though a performance at Wilton House in 1603 has been suggested as a possibility.

As You Like It follows its heroine Rosalind as she flees persecution in her uncle's court, accompanied by her cousin Celia to find safety and, eventually, love, in the Forest of Arden.

47 parts Ongoing

In the late 1960s in Australia, orphaned Maddie is thrust into her aunt's care, uncovering family secrets while sparking laughter and growth in cousins Simon and Edith (Didi). As shy Simon stumbles to shed his stutter and bratty Didi sheds her "Didiot" ways, Maddie's life darkens under the shadow of a corrupt politician's son. After a harrowing ordeal leaves her vulnerable and alone, she finds refuge with a kind introvert named Bill Shakespeare, whose name whispers of destiny. Together, they navigate a stage of mistaken identities, bell-bottoms, and disco beats, discovering that love, laughter, and Shakespearean drama can challenge a judgmental society's conventions. Will their bond thrive amidst the psychedelic dawn of a new age, or unravel like a fragile dream?
