I'm done defending a boy who lied for months saying that he "matured" and learned from his mistakes. the first time he said the n word, I stopped liking him. but then I got back into the fandom in March, when quarantine started, just because he started popping up everywhere and I couldn't help it. then he made the big 5 min apology video and I really believed him. and these past months, I've defended him everytime I saw a hate comment.
