𝓞𝓣𝓗𝓔𝓡: Kiyotaka Ishimaru had caught the eye of the Mastermind if the killing game him and 16 others competed in. The mastermind wanted to make Taka their's and their's only, so they had Monokuma take him one day while he was exploring the school on his own and brought him to them. Thus, his new life began. He was given rules that he must follow or else he will be punished severely. A prime example of a punishment is the missing eye from his left socket. After Kiyotaka had one day disobeyed a rule and tried to tell someone who the Mastermind was, he was knocked out by Monokuma and brought back to them, where they stabbed/yanked his left eye out. And this was just a muld punishment, they warned him that punishments in the future would be more severe. So, Ishimaru was trapped. While he was no longer in danger of being killed in the killing game (if anyone even so much as thought about hurting him, the Mastermidn would have them executed), he didn't have any free will anymore either. He was their toy, their pet, their object of desire that they could do whatever they pleased with, a puppet they could control every move of. Kiyotaka had no way of fighting back, and he had lost hope of escaping them the same day he lost his eye, falling into a pit of despair. He was, the MasterMind's pet.
