A kitsune-like girl appeared in a flurry of sparks upon the sandy shore. Her eyes took in her bright surroundings, adjusting the the light almost immediately. She was frowning ever so slightly as it was a pity that she couldn't feel them warm sand under her feet or the sun upon her skin. But perhaps... Soon.
She could feel the presence of souls in the area, she just needed to wait for them to come out.

@Ondine14 (5 ;) catching up to you) The girl didn't seem very surprised or afraid of her tone of voice and the expression that was on her face. She in fact had seen much worse things and witnessed them on people she was fairly close to at one point. "Yes, yes I would love to know." She said, letting an excited smile cross her face, "please, go ahead, let it all out. I'm all ears." Her eyes displayed anticipation as she waited for the girl's reaction.

Riptide sits on the beach, his bare feet in the surf as the waves come and go. He leans back on his arms and stares up at the sky as the sun rises.
A woman walks out of the woods behind him; she's a tall, beautiful young girl with long blonde hair, blue-silver eyes, and an innocent look about her. She wears a dark blue tank top and a long, flowing black skirt. Her slippered feet leave delicate imprints in the sand as she walks up behind Riptide.
Hearing her, he glances over his shoulder, then sighs deeply and turns back to the sea. "Nat. And here I was hoping you'd never come back."
The girl merely laughs in response.
