Everyone is perfect and pretty. Maybe they're blind or mute. You get the few attention seekers who characters are only into self-harm and are depressed. But, I don't want that. My characters are going to be fat, skinny, tall, scarred, anything. Some will be missing limbs or eyes or even bald. But, they will be pretty. Lots of different characteristics are pretty other than pale, dark haired, and perfectly skinny with nice muscles.
